Braddock's story is incredible and inspiring about what it means to maintain courage and class when everything has gone wrong. A real American hero. Thanks to the creators of this site for providing historical information to go along with the great movie.

"Cinderella Man" has caused me to see how the Great Depression affected all aspects of American life, from employment to entertainment. It is commonly known that employment rates plummetted, but we rarely consider the all-encompassing effects of an economic downturn, such as effects on the boxing industry. Braddock's story translates fabulously to film, and so does his rags-to-riches American appeal. Hope was a staple in the '30s, and Braddock embodies the ideal.

Even though I have only seen the beginning of the movie so far it is really really good. Him and his family led such a hard life but their story is inspiring and a good one to look up too.

I think Braddock is a great American hero and role model. He showed how perserverence and hard work, even during one of the worst times in American history, is the outright best way to make a living in this country.

Although we haven't finished this movie, the story of Braddock and his family has an interesting perspective on the events of the Great Depression. I'd never heard of Braddock before watching this movie, so I'm enjoying learning more about this man and his story.

He was a true fighter and a believer that things always had an upside, what an opptimist. A very inspirational person.
