I went to see the movie tonight and I never knew the great story of Jimmy. The story of James is a great inspirational movie and shows how tought things where during the depression. It shows how greatfull we should be about what we have today. Amazing movie...thank you Ron Howard and be proud of Jim, since you had a Great American as grandfather.

Like most everybody who has left a message, I too enjoyed not only the movie, but the truly inspiring story of a great boxer and an even greater human being. I watched the movie with my wife, daughter and son. We all came out of the theater feeling grateful for what we have. Cherish your children and honor your elders.

My wife and I just saw Cinderella Man. We were so inspired to live more frugal, teach our children determination, enjoy our freedom as Americans that CAN dream, and to enjoy the journey together in marriage. The movie was excellent! The story was incredible!

I just saw the movie this evening, and although I had known about Jim Braddock for most of my life, I never realized how much his great spirit and determination meant so much to so many people. His story is truly the story of the best the American people.

I saw the 'Cinderella Man' movie last night. It was truly inspirational. Thank you Ron Howard and the rest of the people that put this movie together. I loved it.

I left the theatre very inspired and said to myself, "Why don't we have
that kind of determination today?"
I am glad his story was told. I had to look up and see more about him.

Just saw the movie with my family, what a great film honoring the saga of an exceptional man. We were cheering along with the crowd.

My wife, Sue, and I just saw Cinderella Man; Russell Crowe did a very nice job. I can recall seeing your grandfather on the Jack Paar and Johnny Carson shows; he was a gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor -- a perfect guest.

As you already know, you have much to be proud of, bearing his name and enjoying his repuration. Keep up the good work.

I have never screamed "yes!!!" so many times and so loud in a theatre before! I was on the edge of my seat with my teeth and fists clenched along with tears rolling down my face. What a truly inspiring story. I wish I could go back in time just to witness this family's great accomplishments. A few grammys better be won for this one!!

With all the junk films out there this is a really quality story ---- what a great story and a great film!!

It's wonderful too, to see the film made well. The fight scenes are great, the whole depression era look and feel to the apartment, the n'hood... Crowe, who is NOT a big favorite for me, was breathtaking.

Wow, my wife & I saw the movie last night and we are still blown away by it. I was a boxing fan until boxing took a turn for the worse over the last 15 years. I had heard of James J. Braddock but didn't know his story. This movie was inspirational, sensational, and intense. I can't remember a movie where I had tears flowing for such long stretches of time. I guess I thought about my 2 young children and how and what I would do if I had no money to pay for food or heat. My dad grew up in the depression in New York City and this gives me an idea of what the times were like back then. The acting was phenominal and the directing and set designs were awesome. To Ron Howard, Russell Crowe, Renee Zellweiger and the rest of the cast & crew, I applaud you. Thank you to the Braddock family for putting up this web site and allowing us to learn more about your grandfather and family. Absolutely wonderful. Peace be with you.

Just saw "Cinderella Man" tonight, and wanted to read all I could about your grandfather. What a truly inspirational film about a real hero, who was faithful to his family and put them above all else. (By the way, everyone in the audience clapped at a few points in the movie, and also at the end!) Thank you for sharing a bit about him with us, who didn't have the chance to know him.

I just wanted to say that Mr. Braddock was and it always be a great example for honesty, persistance, courage and a great, great christian and family man ever!

The movie was a "true American" story of a great fighter and a great father. It is a MUST SEE movie for all! If it doesn't win awards, then NO movie should win!! Russell Crow should win a top award for another stunning performance! GO SEE THIS TOUCHING MOVIE and I'll guarantee you a GREAT story of a turly great American!

Saw the movie on Sunday 5th June and could not wait to go on the net and find out more about James J Braddock he must have been a very interesting person to know, I am looking forward to a biography on A&E on his life.

The story of James J. Braddock was one of the most amazing stories I've ever seen. Your grandfather should be an inspiration to everyone. This story proved that no matter how low you get there's always hope.

I just saw the movie tonight with my daughter and we both loved it. It was so inspirational and I will certainly buy the dvd when it comes out. One of the best movies I have seen in a long time! You must be so proud of your grandparents and their truly amazing story!

I jst saw the movie Friday and it was a beautiful depecion of James Braddock...he was a true hero and a fine and good man and a great husband and father....a true hero, his struggles thru the depression and rising above this to become one of the worlds greatest boxers..a great and wonderful man....long life, beautiful children and loyal wife Mae..he truly deserved to have a long life......

I just saw the movie an hour ago and I still can't stop thinking about the movie and the strenth James J. Braddock had. Even though I am seventeen I probably enjoyed the movie just as much as some one who witnessed the inspiring story of this man. It is something I definitly will never forget.

What an awesome depiction of a true American hero. Thank you for sharing your grandfather's story with the rest of America.

I just saw the movie this afternoon and was inspired by the courage James Braddock and his family showed. They had to endure such hard times, but stayed strong through it all. It's a true testament to what an American should be! He was wonderful!
