Wow! What an inspirational story about a man and his family. If James Braddock was half the man portrayed on the screen he must have been really something special. Thanks for sharing the story of your father and siblings.

We saw "Cinderella Man" last night. The love Mr. Braddock had for his family was heartwarming. Russell Crowe should win an academy award.

I loved the movie! It was great, I'm sure his family is very proud of him. I was just wonder, was everything as intense, dramatic and scary as the movie made it seem?

Watching the movie took me back to a time when honor and courage was more important than the car you drove or the shoes you wore. Congratulations on a fine depiction of a wonderful American. God bless his family.

I, too, had never heard of Mr Braddock before this film. Iwent last night and haven't been able to get it out of my mind since. It's what prompted me to look up Braddock on the internet, and what do I find but a testimony of those who were moved not only by the film but the life of this man. Kudos to Howard,Crowe and Zellweger but let's not forget Paul Giamatti who was awesome!

This movie is amazing.! Braddock's story is humbling, amazing, inspiring and uplifting. It is the olny movie I have ever seen where the audience crys, cheers and applaudes all at one movie.

My husband and I saw this movie last night with a few other couples' from our church.
We all left inspired by the true story of such a courageous family and man.
We hope this movie is as successful as it deserves to be.

To those of us born in the mid-thirties, the scenes of the Depression years were very real, and while watching the movie, one couldn't help but wonder if any of today's suburban kids watching the film could relate in any meaningful way to those times. No doubt not as it's ancient history to them.
Also a boxing website described the Baer/Braddock fight as a "desultory 15 rounder". The film certainly shows it otherwise--as a hard fought battle with many bone-jarring hits by both fighters. Is there anyone out there who saw it or heard the fight broadcast who can confirm whether it was a real battle or a "desultory" one?

Saw the movie last night and was moved by the story that was told. Mr Braddock displayed the heart that existed during a very difficult time.
After seeing the movie last night, I was treated to a nice surprise, watching a recording of the Tuesday Night Fights that Aired on ESPN2 on 5/31. They showed a couple of clips from the Braddock/Baer fight. Just a couple of short clips, but if you have a chance to view it, it is well worth it.

A true story with a true message = a formula for a great movie. I can't believe this is the first time I have heard of Jim! The first chance I get I am bringing my son to see the movie, too. Thanks for making his life known to today's generation.

The fictional Rocky movies can take a back seat. The true story of courage and determination is now the boxing movie that will be considered the standard for all to come! A true masterpiece!

I saw the movie last night. Great story. Loved the family story as much as the boxing career. Nice to see Hollywood and the US media put out something postive about the American will and pride. All the best to your family, a great inspiration to us all.

If you have access to actual fight footage, is there a possibility of you airing it? I imagine Sly or Sugar would be in your corner for logistics.
Mr. Braddocks legacy should remain in the hearts of Americans as a True Hero

I, like many people here, knew nothing of this man before seeing the movie last night. Its great to see Twenty pages of people just so moved by this man and this story. It was a very touching and emothinal story because it was true. It really illustrates triumph of the human spirt, of the underdog. It teaches a lot about staying dignified and keeping faith in hard times. The Movie was great, most cheered, many cried. It left a buzz with me today. I'm sure Jimmy is up there smiling down. Cheers to all the Braddock family

I am a boxxing fan in part because my dad is. My dad always spoke of great fighters during his generation. He always spoke of Mr. Braddock as a fighter of great heart and determination who always fought hard. I have not seen the movie but its nice to know a new generation will know of Mr. Braddock, who exemplified great charcter traits. Boxing needs role models like Mr. Braddock.

We saw the wonderful movie about your Grandfather on June 3rd, and came away from the movie talking about what a humble man can achieve. His love and faithfulness to family, his work ethic, and his true character & humility, is what we should all aspire to in our lives.

What a wonderful life your grandfather had. I saw the movie at a private screening this week and it was excellent. It also reminds me that I want to work with Russell and Ron sometime in my career.
