Wow. I had no idea that such a story existed. What a truly great human being. A great family man, an unbelievable boxer that wouldn't give up even when the odds were stacked against him! You should be extremely proud of him. He was truly an inspiration to many and will continue to be once everyone sees this amazing film.

My wife and I just saw the movie today. It has been the best movie we have seen this year. GREAT MOVIE

The movie is stunning, inspiring, emotionally wrenching and uplifting at the same time. Knock-outs: acting skills of Renee Zellweger and Russell Crowe and the bittersweet story of James Braddock. Well done, Ron Howard!

The most inspiring true American Hero story I have seen or heard of in a long long time. I appreciate that I can know of his life. We need more James Braddocks!!!

I just returned from watching this awe inspiring story with my son. I tell him often how important family, family values and morals are as well as keeping your sites on a goal and doing your best while attempting to achieve your dream. I am glad this story was told and urge others to see true human spirit.

I saw "Cinderella Man' this morning & loved it! This has got to be "THE BEST" movie that I've seen in a long time. I'm sure it's going to walk away with many Academy Awards on 2006.

The audience actually cringed during the Max Baer fight. We applauded this movie at the end, which it richly deserved.

The Braddock family certainly has a heritage to be proud of.

I have just come home from the cinderella man movie and I was amazed, not just at the movie but at James Braddock's courage and heart. Watching the movie has changed my life and I find it hard to put into words the attitude I have toward this man's life. I have been reading people's storys on this webpage and it just complete astounds me how many people feel the same way about this man and his story. I as an aspiring boxer now have something to look at and think, wow; I want to be just like that. If anybody could be half the man that James Braddock was in this day and age they would be treated as royalty. This man lived through the depression with three children and without a steady job. I truely think that the way this man came back and did was he wanted to do was amazing. I have also been looking at his fight record and the movie did not display his outstanding ring record before he had his liecence withdrawn. This man was truely amazing and will always have a place in my heart and the next time I face a challange that I dont think I can defeat, I will think of James J. Braddock and his story and I am positive that it will help me pull through on top. My mother wept several times and when he defeated Max Baer I felt like jumping up and cheering for him. I wish I could live up to this man but I know I never will, but in my mind, I dont think anyone ever will. I think the movie will win several awards just because it portraid such an insripational life, and like so many others, the crowed clapped at the end of the movie.

I just watched the movie, Cinderella Man, earlier this afternoon for the first time and have every intention of watching it several more times before it comes out on DVD, at which point I'll then buy several copies. My dead brother was a failed New Jersey boxer who died of liver-failure-by-alcoholism two years ago, so this feature presentation strikes an especially emotional chord with me. Thanks for listening.

You must be very proud of your family. It is truly a remarkable story that that reaches out and touches the heart. Wherever the Cinderella Man now is, I hope this helps him celebrate his 100th birthdy on June 7.

Just saw the Cinderella Man movie with my 9 year old son. He asked me if I was shaking in my chair like he was. You couldn't help but be "moved" by the compelling story of this great Irish-American man who posessed such incredible character and determination. Thank you James. J Braddock, for being such an inspiration and a "champion of our hearts" (also).

I saw the movie today. James J. Braddock fits the definition of "Real American Hero." I am truly inspired by the struggle that this man overcame and how he maintained himself throughout it all. He even put up the great fight with Joe Louis (enterring his prime) that they could have gone into which is a story itself. Amazing, Amazing Amazing.

We want all of our grandchildren to see this movie, to know the honest values of this man. We loved the move. We feel blessed and so thankful to have seen this movie today. We had to find out more about the Braddock's. Isn't it wonderful that God sent this man to earth?

My boyfriend and I just got back from the movie and we had to go on line to research James J. Braddock. The movie was amazing and he was truly an amazing man. I can not stop talking about the film or him. I am glad I was lucky enough to know the story of James J Braddock.

Coming from a long lineage of boxers in my family (myself included), my wife and I could not wait to see this movie. This movie represents so much more than the great sport of boxing. The fight scenes were portrayed extremely accurate for that time period. This movie is exquisite. So many emotions while watching this. I'll tell you, it made my problems seem so small in comparison to what our ancestors endured during the depression. This movie made me think about what is truly important in life. Russell Crowe was fabulous. This has Oscar written all over it!!!!

James Braddock was a great fighter and a better man! My Great Uncle, George Gemas, fought Braddock in the late 20's and our family has often talked about those fights and the times they lived in ... Finally a movie that illustrates what they went through & portrays what kind of people they were! Great Job!
