My wife and I watched the movie last night. What a tremendous movie about a great man and family! As a Father, watching it was inspiring to me and also to my wife. You should be proud of your grandfather, and this website was wonderful. Thanks!

We just watched the film, me pregnant mexican wife lying next to me. We both had to cry and I was wondering if this story is real or just another make up from holiwood.

I just saw the movie. I don't know much about boxing muchless boxing history. My husband had to beg me to watch it. I sure am glad he convinced me. Braddocks life was truly worth celebrating in that way, by having a major film made about him. What an inspiration that man is, even to this day!!! I will definitely have my sons watch it when they are old enough to understand. A fine example of courage, honesty and determination!

when you think about this guy's love for his three kids and his wife and how comitted he is to just putting some food
on the table and just trying to win some fights to keep the heat and electricity going so his wife and kids
dont freeze to death. 1 minute he's in a releif money office and in a soup kitchen and a bread line the next he's
beating max baer. then, only then, you realize his greatness and why they call him the cinderella man

Saw Cinderella Man for 2nd time today. I especially enjoyed this gentleman's love of honesty and family.

He was the antitype of a boxer..I am so happy he lived for a long time.. and may his family continue his high principle..by the way I don't enjoy boxing, it's too violent for my taste but I did enjoy the love story. Thanks for sharing his story with us.

Though each generation has its own hardships, dare we complain? He stood strong for our country thru the bad times and made the most of what he had. What an amazing life...A fantastic movie. Just imagine if everyone who has had public assistance paid it back. Mr. Braddock had so much to be proud of.

As a person who has been given so much through my life, I am awestruck by the character of an entire generation of people that perservered through the great depression, a world war, and went on to build the greatest country in the world. James Braddock was hero to that generation and a shining example for future generations of what can be achieved through hard. work

After watching the movie about your father I think about him alot. He was a righteous man who persevered in the most difficult of times. You have every reason to be so proud of your father/uncle. In today's world, it's a rarity to find someone with such determination, integrity, honesty and commitment to his family. Not to mention a great fighter with an extraordinarily inspirational story. "Cinderella Man" allowed me to re-live the excitement of the Braddock/Baer Heavyweight Championship Fight.

I am 72 years of age and was a youngster during the Joe Louis reign. Joe was a great role model for us in those days and I knew he had defeated Jim Braddock for the title, but until I saw the movie, Cindella Man, I had no idea of what kind of man Jim was and anything about his life. A really good movie about a really great guy, it reminds my generation how great a country this was and can be again. Most inspiring.
