What a great movie of a true American hero. This movie should be shown in schoolrooms so kids can have a real hero to look up to.

Awesome Movie! It was so refreshing to watch a movie where the "hero", deserved the recognition he received by living a good, moral, honest life.

JAMES J BRADDOCK WAS A GREAT FIGHTER AND AN EVEN GREATER MAN. AFTER READING ABOUT HIM AND SEEING THE MOVIE, HE FOUGHT FOR WHAT HE BELIEVED IN AND HIS FAMILY WAS HIS TOP PRIORITY.

Just watched the movie. It was awesome. What a guy! My own Grandfather was deputy boxing commissioner for the State of PA for many years and boxing plays a big part in my family. Thanks for a wonderful job with the movie, the website etc. Keep up the great work.

When my students and I saw this picture we were just mezmorized of Russel Crowe performance. The family values revealed in this picture are just awesome. I really think that someone should value Russel's portrayed of the real Bradock and give him with a special award because he really entitled of one. Yours truly, Enrique (Puerto Rico)

out of all the boxing films that ive seen in the past i think that cinderella man was proberly my favourite because of his courage, style and attitude. i think that it was sad for a good hearted boxer likt braddock to lose his title 2 years later but he kept his chin up and moved on, R.I.P

I've always been a fan of movies centered around the 1920-30'ies, and also of stories about people who against all odd's come out on top. The movie was excellent, and even though i realize that movies always tend to show things in a bit of a different light than the real life, it still makes you think about what a single person can achieve and how it influences people even now.

I too have just watched the Movie with my wife & Kids.

You never realise how lucky you are, until you see what it must have been like in the great depression.

The portrayal of Jim was excellent & having read this web site, its great to see the legend is based on more than myth.

What an inspiration. My mother has told me horror stories about the Great Depression, but I can only imagine what it as like in the New York/New Jersey area. Jim Braddock was mentioned in our home many times because he was the "little" man's man. I applaud James J. Braddock for giving people hope when everything seems so grim. AND if the movie is true regarding the priest and the parisoners praying for him during his fight with Jethro's dad (Max Baer), I applaud the Church also. God Bless all the Braddock heirs for having such a wonderful patriarch.

I wish my whole generation would watch this movie and realize what the depression was and how greatful Mr Braddock was to be an AMERICAN! Tremendous moving story.

I watched Cinderalla Man last night. What a life! What a man! What a husband and father! Bravo!!!!!!!

I was very sad to read that his son and daughter have passed. I would be interested in knowing how and why they died so young.

Keep up the good work on this website. We need more heros like James J. Braddock.

A great story! There should be more movies and web sights such as this, true and inspirational, as well as entertaining and educational. Unlike much of the garbage that is available today.

After watching the movie last night, I now understand why my Father, who was also a victim of the depression and a lifelong sports fan, thought so highly of James J. Braddock.

I just watched the film with my father who lived during the Depression. It was great to hear his memories of the Braddock vs. Baer fight. What an inspiration Jimmy was and is today.
