I saw this movie with my husband and 13 year old daughter and we left the theatre truly satisfied and inspired. As always, real life provides a finer script than fiction ever can. We became attached to the characters and marvelled at the integrity and principles of James Braddock and his wife. My daughter enjoys "nobel" characters and James Braddock is certainly one!

wow. i wish i could have met this man. and, i from this day on, i look of to James. I play football, and, i am going to make it my gift to James, to put the honor and such as he, into my sport, and everyday life. :) RIP JAMES.

My husband and I saw the movie about James J.Braddock and we were so moved that we went home and brought our 16 year old son to see the movie and we saw it again with him.

The world could use many, many more people with the character, devotion and sheer determination, without destroying other people in the process as James Braddock.

I have always believed that out of adversity comes opportunity. James Braddock proved this to be true, as much as any other American in history, by courageously setting an example to live by. The movie is great, and I hope you feel it did the "Cinderella Man" justice. But the man, himself, was even greater, and I am inspired by his life and memory.

I saw the movie on July 4. It was wonderful. James J Braddock was a true hero of his time.

A great and inspiring story... Cinderella Man is probably one of my favorite movies of all time...

What a great movie about a great athelete that kids could look up to unlike so many today. He was obviously a great father and honest hard working man who served his country in it's hour of need. God bless James J. Braddock and his family. Thanks for being a great American.

I just returned from seeing the film Cinderalla Man. A wonderful tribute to such an honest, good natured, kind, gentleman. The family should be quite proud of James Braddock. They need more men like James in this day and age.

jIMMY WAS A GREAT MAN WITH A BIG "IRISH" HEART. MY IRISH UNCLES WHO CAME OVER FROM IRELAND WERE FRIENDS AND FANS OF HIS. THEY SAID HE WORE A SHAMROCK ON HIS TRUNKS AND VISITED HIS COUSIN IN REVENA NY. HE WAS A MAN OF HONOR.GLAD THEY MADE A MOVIE OF HIS LIFE,MAYBE OTHERS WILL EMULATE HIM IN SOME WAYS TO BENIFIT OTHERS.

The real Rocky! What a wonderful movie about a courageous man in difficult times. Isn't it great how Heroes always come when we need them the most- even long after they're gone! Long live the memory of James Braddock.

What a great man! After the movie I found myself completely inspired. I can see why Americans love and respect him. Thanks for this website, and thanks to Ron Howard for bringing a movie about a real hero to our screens.

What a tremendous man! Mr. Braddock's integrity and faithfulness is an inspiration. In addition to his amazing heart for his family, he fought in our World War II. I am so thankful for men like Mr. Braddock who stand and fight to keep our country free and strong. Thank you for sharing his life with me; this website is a great resource.

Have just seen the movie twice in three days. Should win many awards. James J. Braddock is an inspiration for us all to look up to. The example he set for his son when he took him back to the butcher with the meat he took. Am very thankful to have learned about Jimmy Braddock finally.

Just saw the movie and boy was so glad to find this site, made me read every single word. A true inspiration and a meaning for the word, I Love this movie, perfectly depicted with the right kind of man at the right time (great depression).

What an inspiring story. Thanks to Ron Howard for another terrific movie. I love historic movies about real events and real people, and I especially appreciate how the story was not embellished or changed to make it more contriversial in order to sell more tickets. A truly great story about a great man. Very inspiring. Today's atheletes should learn a lesson from this guy about humility, humbleness, honesty, and integrity.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Cinderella Man movie last night. Never in my life have I felt so uplifted and inspired. James J. Braddock was surely an exceptional and extraordinary human being.

What an inspiring story! It is stories of great people such as Jim that need to be told more often. Learning of Jim's story only feeds my determination to succeed as an athlete. I too have a second chance to do great things in my sport and just like Jim, I will not let failure overtake me cause my determination to succeed is strong enough. Thank you for sharing a story with the rest of the world of such a wonderful and inspiring man!

My wife and I went to see Cinderella Man over the July 4th holiday weekend, and enjoyed the movie immensely. The story of James Braddock's life and struggles are inspiring. A true hero and gentleman.

Just the movie I needed to see the weekend of the 4th. I believe Russell Crowe was the right man to protrey Jim Braddock. I kept waiting to see Ron Howard bring up some skeleton in the closet on Jim, but in the end all Jim was and is an true American Hero. A great father and husband. I love the actor that played his promotor. That actor is going places for sure...Just a great story...thank you
