The movie was truly inspirational! Our palms were sweaty as we were gripped during the Baer fight scenes. What a wonderful story.

Just saw the movie tonight with my wife. What an honorable person Mr. Braddock was. That's about all I can say or needs to be said. A great man.

I am ashamed to say that before the movie, the name " James J. Braddock " was one of the many names that I had heard about in the history of boxing. But after watching the movie I can honestly say that the name " James J. Braddock " will not only make me think of an outstanding boxer, but of an amazing human being whose heart allowed him to overcome great odds and gain the life that he truly deserved.

A truly inspirational movie about the life of James L Braddock. I really enjoyed learning more about the legendary boxer.

My wife and I just returned from seeing the movie, and like so many others, found your website looking for more info on your grandfather. My grandfather was also a boxer, but at an earlier time. I have searched, unsuccessfully, for information on him. Thank you for sharing the story of your truly inspirational grandfather. This is a story we will share with our children as one example how to hold their heads up high.

In our current culture we find greed,
selfishness, curruption and also love, generosity, selflessness and self sacrifice.

Great story, great lesson, great man.

I loved the movie, what an inspiritation for anyone to place their wellbeing and do whatever it takes to provide for your family. My father worked during the great depression and in the south he said you were lucky to earn a dollar a day...and happy to have that. This movie shows what a great man Jamwes was.

I just saw "Cinderella Man." It was such a beautiful, inspiring story! Mr. Braddock was an incredible human being. The love that he had for his family was so beautifully portrayed. A genuine American hero. James Braddock personified the American Spirit. His life, a case study in perseverance.

I go to very few movies, because I find many of them to be either boring and predictable or just full of sex. This movie was one of the most awe-inspiring that so accurately depicts my parents' generation. One where it was all about pride, integrity and family--values which are lost on our generation. The Braddock family must be beaming with pride!! Thank you.

Let this story inspire us as individuals; to do right and be the best we can be.

The story of Jim Braddock is probably the most extrordinary story I have ever heard. Although the movie was wonderful I am more inspired to think that this really happened with or without the hollywood influence. I almost feel guilty that I wasn't aware of it prior to the movie coming out. Thank you for letting this story be told!

As a child of Depresion era parents
this story gives me hope of what was and can be GREAT with America!

I have not yet seen the movie, but ealier today I saw a biography on James Braddock. Any one to come out of a hole such as the one he was in is astonishing! I feel it shows other countries what we are about, and warms the heart of Americans. I do not watch many movies but I know this movie will be rewarding to see.

My wife and I just saw this incredible movie. It's amazing how Braddock became and American inspiration during the depression and again over 70 yrs later!!!!!

My husband & I just got home after seeing the movie Cinderella Man. If your father was remotely as good a human being as the film portrayed, and we imagine he was, you have much to be proud of. His legacy lives on his his sons and their families. Thank you for sharing this website.
