Cinderella Man was one of the best movies I have ever seen. James Braddock is the epitomy of a hero and someone we can all look up to. He never gave up and always put his family first. He had so much class and was just an inspiration to all. I am so full of emotion after watching this movie, I had to learn more about him. He's what a man should be.

wow ! what a fantastic genuine man ! He gives new meaning to the word honor and pride. A legend like that will always remain. It is a shame that the movie was not made prior to his passing just so he could see how truly loved and admired he was and how his spirit can encourage NEW fans.

I have watched the movie at least 5 times very inspiring with great passion
and courage. The relatioship between Mr. Braddock and his wife is not found in most realtioship these days the support for one another was a gift.

Jimmy was indeed an inspiration to his generation and many generations to come, I am thankful to Ron Howard for the most beautiful portrayal of the Cinderella Man, the world now knows what a Legend he was. a Tough guy is an understatement for him. Absolutely Mindblowing !!!!

Cinderella Man, a truly inspiring movie, one of very few ever (true stories), to take an audience through virtually every emotional feeling and leave them with a sense of awe at the end, for an individual very few people today, had heard of. Behind the movie is the man James J Braddock and I agree with a lot of guest's comments; where are these guys today? what a shame the modern world missed this great man!

Before my grandfather died, I told him that I had seen a boxing movie, called Cinderella Man, and that it was about a boxer James J. Bradock. My grandpa was 97 at the time, but when I mentioned the name, his eyes lit up, and he immediately responded with delight. He was very fond of boxing, and during that time, he was travelling throughout Canada and the U.S. looking for work. But he told me that he remembered James Bradock. Of course he never saw the movie, but I believe it would have touched him very much.

Just bought & watched the movie "Cinderella Man"... Wow! Excellent movie and man! Makes me kind of sad, though, to think that this kind of man is few and far between. I also have to say... they just don't make 'em like they used to! I guess I was born in the wrong era! J. J. Braddock... beautiful man.

Hello! I am writting because my Dad, Robert, was a big Braddock fan when he was a boy during the Depression. He used to cheer for Braddock on the radio. My dad got the chance to meet and know James Braddock in the early 1950s. He told me how they met and how James bought him lunch and talked to my dad about the Max Baer fight. He told me about it and I rented Cinderella Man, and have been hooked since. I have recently borrowed from the library the audio book of the biography of Braddock that was written by Jeremy Schaap, and after listening, I now understand why my dad admire him so much. I am facinated by Braddock's spirit, and I have come to admire him. I found this site and I wanted to say thank you for providing information on this great man, and to let Braddock's spirit and memory live on. My dad has fond memories of Braddock and he will never forget him.

Yeah, we watched Cinderella Man in my fifth period class as part of a lesson in the Great Depression. It was so good I wanted to see the real JJB v MB fight. They did a good job recreating it in the movie. Great man, JJB, and I'll never forget it.

Watched Cinderella Man last night - wow, amazing man and a story brilliantly brought to life by Ron Howard. I was raised in Bergen County, NJ too and my dad, who was Irish, had a great love for boxing. JJB would have been one of his heroes and now I can see why.

I have just finished watched the Cinderella Man. Outstanding... Not only was the movie very well put together. But the story itself made me cry & laught at the same time. I'm 29 years of age, I have been a boxer myself, but sadly had to stop for medical reasons, it's not easy. More boxers today should watch Cinderella Man, or read the book. It is a powerfull, insprational story of one of the greatset men to walk gods green earth. If a can become half the man Mr Braddock did then I feel I would be doing well.

I'm watching the fight scene while viewing this terrific website. James Braddock, geeeezusss! truly a great human being with endless soul and spirit, plus he goes on to serve in world war 2, comes back to help build the Veranzanno bride. I could use some of the James Braddock spirit these days.
