I am just so happening to be watching Cinderella Man right now and wow I tell you the things he had to endure to help feed his family and yet he became one of the best boxers ever in that time.

I to just finished watching the Cinderella Man movie and had to search for James on Google. Glad to see that he was all and more of the man featured. It is also nice to see that he has left such a wonderful family. Thank you for such inspirational web page.

Ive been a fight fan all my life. My father and I watched many a fight together. He told me Braddocks srory when I was young. It was almost exactly like the movie. Great Man

I just finished watching the movie on HBO. WOW!!! I really appreciate you sharing your family with the rest of the world. How proud all of you must be. JJB was living proof of the American Dream, we should all learn a lesson from his life. Never give up and dreams can come true. What ever happened to Baer?? Thanks again!!!!

I know hollywood sometimes exagerates real-life, but this film really moved me - to the extent I searched for Jim Braddock on the web straight after - a fascinating life - a guy who appears to have a spirit you dont seem to see these days

On holiday in Germany when I saw this movie...I stopped watching the world cup semi final ..the movie blew me away i couldn't put it down.

I really enjoyed the movie Cinderella Man. I have always enjoyed movies about boxing champs, their struggles and their rise to victory. Jimmy Braddock's story is truly amazing and inspirational.

The movie Cinderella man was an inspiration and a rebirth to me as it shows great courage and a display of heart. It made me look back to myself and find an inner peace to solve a problem that was haunting me. It just goes to show that deep down there is a drive to conquer our deamons and suceed in life and do the best for our family and all others around us. Thank you James Braddock. A true hero, father and caring man.

As a young girl and even as a grown woman I can remember my father talking about boxers. I watched them once in a while. Mr Braddock wasn't only a fighter in the ring, he was a fighter for life itself. He was truley a humble man. I believe when he gave back what was given him, and he went into the ring with Baer, God was with Mr Braddock and remained with him at all times. I believe God gave him the strength to endure. The movie was awsome in showing the goodness of this family.

I've seen the movie three times now, and every time i see it, it chokes me up. James Braddock was truly a great man, and should be an inspiration to people of all ages - no just because of the boxer he was, but because of the kind of person he was. His story reminds me of how thankful I should be for what we have.

Amazing!!!! I loved this film. I feel hope and inspired each time I see it. it's funny how we forget how lucky we are , knowing it all came from people who fought for a better life. True all Ameican story.

I am not a great fan of boxing or of boxing movies, however I found that this movie wasn't just about boxing. I am proud to tell people that I saw Cinderella Man, and that I enjoyed it emmensly. Thankyou for telling this amazing story. And can anyone tell me what was James J. Braddock's middle name?

James Braddock is what being an American is all about. I was so moved by his story and proud to know that there are trully real heros in the world and I will never be the same. He is now apart of my life and I feel trully blessed to have been able to share if only through a movie a story of a wonderful family and what God intended the family to be.. MY FATHER, AN AMATEUR BOXER IN THE ARMY, ENCOURAGED ME TO SEE THE FILM AND READ ABOUT JIM BRADDOCK. HE LATER TOLD ME THAT JIM BRADDOCK THE REASON HE BECAME INTERESTED IN BOXING. AT 77 YRS OLD. HE STILL CAN'T RESIST A GOOD BOXING MATCH AND COMMENTATING ABOUT IT.

After seeing the movie for the 4th time, I could not resist finding out more about the man. A true american hero and a tribute to everyone who realizes that family comes first.

Thank you for telling the wonderful story of Mr. Braddock!! It is still a truely inspirational story. Makes me feel like I can make it through anything. I wish more people would tell their stories like this. Thank you once again.

I have watched the movie 5 times in the last 5 days. He was a wonderful man and I am glad that someone made this movie of an American Hero. More people should be like that. I will never again think that things are 'hard' for me and i will always appreciate what i have after seeing all that every one went through.

GREAT MOVIE.

Am watching "Cinderella Man" even as I type. Russell Crowe was the initial lure, but I have new respect for James Braddock. If Braddock was anything like the portrayal in this film, he was a WONDERFUL champion.

I HAVE WATCHED CINDERELLA MAN SO MANY TIMES I CAN'T COUNT ANYMORE. I NEVER GET TIRED OF IT. TRULY THE GREATEST BOXING MOVIE OF ALL TIME.

I must confess, I've never watched boxing on T.V. before. I recently lost my job which I was the main supporter in my household. As I await the phone to ring after the many interviews I've been on, I stumble onto this movie on HBO2. It's called "Cinderella Man." This movie has touched my soul. It made me believe I am going to get through this time. No matter how much I've been knocked down these past few years, if this man had the strenght to get back up again....so can I. I've recorded this movie and it will stay close with me b/c it has truly given me something to believe in again. Russell Crow did an amazing job protraying such an amazing man. Whenever I feel like giving it all up, I just think of what this man has accomplished and how much I want this for myself. Happiness, a family, and the feeling of self success in my life. Not for the world..but for me. So thank you..for this web page..and thank you for reminding me it's ok to have bad luck..every one is due.

the movie cinderella man was really great, i could relate to the family part as my father tried to win the featherweight golden gloves which my mom said he did but i think she was kidding us kids. and how poor it was growing up in philadelphia,pa but everyone loved boxing and lots tried to make a go of it, but few did.the only names i remember were mr. dundee and a mr.sankey my dad name was reds jensen but i didn't find any thing about him. this is a wonderful tribute to your father. oh by the way i had a great aunt who married john l sullivan and made a tea toatler out of him lol her name was kate harkins. take care
