We just watched the movie and it was one of the best we've ever seen. He truly was a great sportsman and personality.

James Braddock - A truly a remarkable man and what a great movie, the best I have seen in a long time. An inspiration and should have one at least 4 Oscars for best picture/actor/supporting actor and director

I yust saw the Cinderella movie it was the BEST movie I Ever seen, James J Braddock was a Real heavy master i Boxing <3 OMG

So Hollywood can have a positive effect every so often... I am unsure how factual the story was on the big screen but it brings to life a magnificent story of the human spirit and a chance for that spirit to continue to inspire others, or to make one aware of how really lucky we are.

Its brought me to this site to learn more the man....

A great lesson in being a giver and not a taker and sticking to your commitments.

Ron Howard and Russel Crowe were robbed by the Academy. "Cinderella Man" was the best movie of the year, and Russell was best actor.

A truly great American story.

Truly one of the most inspirational movies I've ever seen. I'll never look at my life with the same eyes. Nor will my family. Share this movie with others......share it with our youth. Allow many the opportunity to experience a piece of history we should learn from and in turn appreciate how fortunate and blessed we truly are.

i'd have to say this story of a determined man and his passion for his family @ boxing is truly an inspiration for anybody down on their lucky keep your head high and keep on pursuing your dreams.

I was excited to see the movie because I am orginally from North Bergen and My grandma tells stories of how her brother and Jim went to a boxing camp together. It was a great movie

A great movie , a greater Man!

What a great Irish-American! I was insired by this great American espicially how he paid back the relief money he was given when he was down. This should inspired all Americans...what I great country we live in. He triumph over adversity is a testament for all of us to imulate. I credit his parents and Jim's courage.

how lucky are we to live in the time that we live in...where life is somewhat easy for all...to look back into the depression era and to see the reality of what it was really like for those who lived it....God bless you all for your strength and your endurance....you have made our world a better place...

I saw the movie Cinderella man today, and WAO!!! I admire this man really!!
I'm reading about his life, and he is an example for everybody. For his sons and daughter: Guys, you have an excellent father, he fighted for you and your mom, he always will be alive. Congratulations !!!

I remember watching the movie at the theatre and getting goose bumps. I bought the DVD and watched it last night and I got those goose bumps all over again. I can't remember another movie doing that to me, ever! A terrific story about a terrifice man. I only wish he were around today to bask in the praise.

James J Braddock's story was a hell of a story. Being born in New York, I cant say enough about this proud Irish-men who brought a nation to its feet, and carried boxing on his shoulders during the depression. James J Braddock, the legend, we salute you.

James Braddock is truly the personification of courage and what it means to be an American. Thanks for sharing this isperational life narrative.

What a inspirational story of a quite remarkable individual. Despite the hardships of the times he rose above it all with his dignty intact. Such a pity that the sport he graced and loved is devoid of his likes.
