I watched Cinderella Man on the flight from Singapore to Manila and was inspired by James Braddock life. He was a fighter, in more ways than one. I'm going to get the movie to show my family.

Yesterday I saw the movie Cinderella Man and I was really impressed of the story of James J Braddock.

Cinderlla Man was a fantastic story. I enjoyed every minute of it. James Braddock seemed to be a wonderful man, people like him made America what it is today!

This film brought so many stories I remember hearing as a child from my parents about the depression - to life. God Bless Ron Howard, Russell Crowe, and all those connected with the making of this film and for believing it was a story worth telling. After reading the posts on this site, I hope they realize just how many people appreciate this story/film. And most importantly God Bless Jim Braddock and his family. He is a man worth remembering and his life is worth celebrating.

I just saw a wonderful and brave story of a great man. He was a great fighter in the ring and in a real life. He had a the most great values that every man got to have it. I admire him.THE GREATEST MAN OF ALL TIME!

Took domestic heat for renting another "sports" movie. Guess who was glued to every scene? Yep, my wife, a NJ native! So the taxes will have to wait another day as we spent 2+ glorious hours watching a very inspirational movie. As a sports fanatic, I had heard of Mr. Braddock, but until last night did not appreciate his greatness. Thank you for this excellent web site where we can learn so much more. I'll rent it again when the kids come home for Spring Break.

I have heard about this wonderful man, James J. Braddock a few years ago, and since then I have visited some sites and tried to gather as much information about him as I could! I cannot express my feelings at this moment, as to say that I am very pleased to have seen the movie, Cinderella Man, and that I have seen a man that many will not!
i regret not to have met a man of such greatness, honor, and self determination... I am amazed of what this man has done in his life!
My regards to his familly, and to those who share my thoughts!

just watched the film cinderella man, and have to say it was an incredibly moving story! james j braddock is a legend, and should never be forgotten. all his family should be very very proud of his achievements which will live on for ever!

I just finished watching Cinderella Man, and I must say it was a fantastic story. James Braddock is a true hero, who overcame everyday struggles and had hope in everyone around him. He was a wonderful father and husband and never forgot what was important to him. He is truely a man to look up to. His story is inspiring and should make evryone want to live their life as fully as they can and not let the bad things bring them down. Those members of his family that are still around should be very proud of the man he was and the impact his story left on so many lives.

I was given a book about Jim Braddock this past christmas by my father, who had recently seen the film "Cinderella Man" and been so thourghly compelled to share it with me he bought me Schapps account of James J. Braddock's life. Having read the book and seen the film I would recommend that everybody who is interested in this man not only watch the film but also read the book. While I found the film sensational at highlighting the highs and lows of this inspirational story, I feel the book provides a more rounded view of the man, his trials and his success. I felt it showed more about the heart and soul of James Braddock in the pages of the book than could ever be portrayed in the film. Perhaps the exact definition of what a man should be, James Braddock embodies all attributes that men seek in themselves, courage, strength and heart, but he has additional aspects that many forget, the ability to swallow his pride, humility and loyalty. A role model, applicable to all, I will pass this book to my family, my friends, and (hopefully someday) to my children.

James J Braddock was truly a great man,not only as a boxer,but his dedication to family was something we could all take a lesson from.For once ive seen a movie that actually does a true hero's story proud.My hats off to the producers and actors inlvolved.And my best wishes to his family ,and for keeping this website going.

I watched the movie this weekend and I'm glad I did. It was a wonderful touching film and James Braddock was a wonderful man. He took care of his family through difficult times and stayed true to his word. I haven't been able to stop thinking about this movie all day and I have asked my friends and family to watch.

I have just seen the movie about James J. Braddock, and man.. there are really no word! I normaly dont like movies like this, but its one of the best i've ever seen. I didn't know who he was before i saw the movie, and I am glad I did! He was a great man with a big heart, may you rest in peace!! You re truelly a winner!

I've just finished watching the movie and there are no words which can describe the greatness of James J. Braddock. Not only and primarily as a boxer, but much more important, his greatness as a MAN and as a FATHER! You should be proud of him and never forget his greatest value in life-FAMILY!

THE STORYLINE IS COMPELLING AND FURTHER EXEMPLIFIES THE TRUE EMODIMENT OF THE AMERICAN SPIRIT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE TO BE SHOWN TO SCHOOL CHILDREN IN EVERY PART OF THE WORLD. MY DAUGHTER ASKED ME THE OTHER NIGHT, DAD ARE YOU A REPUBLCAN OR DEMOCRAT, I THOUGHT ,AND THEN EXLAIMED, YOU KNOW WHAT I AM AN AMERICAN. I HAVE WATCHED
THE MOVIE TWO TIMES NOW, AND I TRUELY FELL THAT JAMES J. BRADDOCK IS A GREAT AMERICAN.

I just watched the Cinderella Man last night, and loved the movie, learning about Mr. Braddock's family and career. Your website is also fantastic. Great boxer and evidentally a great man.

I watched Cinderella Man last night and I have to say I have never seen a more truthfully told and a well documented movie, absolutlrey outstanding. James Braddock is a man who makes me want to stand up and shout from the roof tops that I am a good catholic Irish girl and I'm not ashamed of it. The way Mr Braddock was with his son when he stole the meat sausage is exactly how it was in Ireland. People cared more for there diginity and pride than their rumbling bellies. I wish I was alive in the 1930's so I could give Mr Braddock a good old shake of the hand. After watching the film I was so taken aback taht all I wanted to do was get on the internet to find a website and to see if he was still alive, I was clearly not thinking thing straight becasue the man would be well into his 100's now.
