I thought the movie was great and that it was a really inspiring story. Russel Crowe did a great job and so did everyone else. Jim Braddock was a great guy.

I just saw the movie and was really impressed by Braddock's determination and courage in spite of all the adversities he was facing. I think the values and love that came through are a great message for everyone today, especially those who give up as soon as the going gets rough. I'm going to use it in my English class.

Saw the movie it was terrible, they made Max Baer a villian. Baer was a comedian and a very very likeable person. Do your homework about Mr. Baer Mr. Howard. I read Max Baer Jr. comments about the film and I agree you did a very bad misjustice to Max Baer, in fact you destroyed the movie.
Never lie about a person it will catch you in the end.

Just read the previous posting from Mr. Aldrich. I agree with him Max Baer was the better fighter who did not want to hurt Braddock as he had a movie career. How come they do not want to make a Movie of the life of Max Baer. Baer brought color in the fight pict. The movie made Baer a evil person, not so the man was very good as my uncle told stories about him as he knew him from California.

i bought the tape of Cinderella Man yesterday. After seeing it i was disgusted of the portrayal of Max Baer.
Max Baer was a good and funny person who never liked boxing. He was in a few movies he was a gentle person after he killed Campbell he suported Campbell's wife and children.
Mr. Baer before the Braddock fight did not train for the fight and had hurt his hands also. Im sure if you see the original film you could see he clowned away the championship.

What a change the story of one man and one movie can make. I can see the emotional and spiritual change that Mr. Braddock's heroic life stroy has had on my husband. It touched us both deeply and reinforced the idea that we are far to fortunate to be wasteful in times of plenty. Mr. & Mrs. Braddock both were exemplary in thier undying faith and beleif in one another. They were truely special indeed. Thank you to the entire Braddock family and everyone that brought this movie to us. Mr. Braddock is a champion' s champion.

I hate that I waited to see this movie on DVD. It was what I miss most about movies that it was for everyone in my home. It was an inspiring story that reminded me not to give up and to stick to my values.

Although I was probably too young (born 1941) to have direct knowledge of James J. Braddock, I have know his since long before the movie Cinderella Man came out. His story is truly amazing and inspirational.

I just saw the movie, only because I'm a huge fan of Ron Howard's work. I was totally moved by this man. Not only because he was a great athlete, but because he was a wonderful husband, father, human being. I am a believer that anything is possible. I am grateful to his family for continuing this website. Thank you!

From what I've read about Jim Braddock and from the movie Cinderella Man I don't think you can miss the quality of the man. To many sports figures today are little more than hoodlums. There are many things to admire about Jim Braddock but at the top of my list is how he loved his family. During the Hoover years it was as tough a time on the family as there has ever been. We need more parents like Jim and Mae. We need parents that will not just walk away from each other or their kids because times are hard. I'm sure Jim and Mae’s children and grandchildren considered themselves lucky and proud of Jim and Mae.

I grew up in North Bergen, N.J. where Jim Braddock's name loomed larger than life. Anyone who met Jimmy Braddock, always spoke highly of him. He was considered a gentleman and a true American legend.
