The movie was amazing. The story is an inspiration for everyone. What a Great guy!..talk about HEART. This guy was one of a kind. Great story.

I watched the movie a couple of nights ago. A great man! good movie. He never complained, did whatever he could to take care of his family, an inspiration to all.

I just wanted to say that my husband and I saw the movie Cinderella man recently. We just got married in June, and have had some rough times recently (nothing to the extent of James and Mae I'm sure). However, the story taught us the importance of marriage, and that together we can get through anything. I feel like the movie made us realize what marriage is all about and encouraged us to strengthen our marriage. Your family is truly an inspiration. God bless you all!

Saw the movie last night. His story touched in ways I can't explain. If I could tell Thank You for showing the world never give up and nothing makes you stronger than what you thought made you weak. Great family as well. Keep up the good work and may Mr. Braddock's legacy live on forever.

Finally saw the movie. Outstanding! James J. Braddock was a hero for those that went through the Great Depression.

Watched the movie last night with my girlfriend, truely shows how a man with will can do anything. Much respect for Mr. James Braddock and his family/relatives. The fact that his family runs this website is even that more touching. Great family!

SAW THE MOVIE 12/14/05 EXCELLENT

I watched the moovie yesterday and the Jimmy Braddock story shoked me. All best to his relatives!

Just watched the Cinderella Man. It is a story about how courage overcomes hurdles and leads to success. I shall always keep in mind with that.

I watched this movie today after getting so really bad news. Jim braddock's courage and character really inspired me to stop feeling sorry for my self. He seemed to exemplify all that is good in the human spirit. Thank you Jim for giving me the gift of strentgh. I'm forever in your debt.

I saw Cinderella Man tonight on DVD. I can truly say that I am most proud of Mr. Braddock. He was a great family man and a person who cares about giving back what he borrowed. Mr. Braddock is an American that others can follow. God bless him and his family.

What a man, all the way through. Re: the movie (which made me cry), I'm glad I didn't know anything previous about the history of the characters before seeing it. I enjoyed the integrity of Jim Braddock, and even more when I found out it was "true."
Then I received some more insight from my parents who were born in the depression era. Then I did research about these men in boxing.
I had an all-around good "bout" of experience.

What can i say that has already been said?? the movie was fantastic...one of the better ones i've seen about a true story....a man who had to swallow his pride....and then to be a man again...it brought a huge lump in my throat and i usually don't get those very often...I was like....yes....i nearly jumped out of my seat when he won...Great story too Ron (Howard) it kept me wondering.....did he win...did he win...

i just saw the movie and James J. Braddock's story is one of the most compelling and moving stories i have ever heard or in the case of Cinderella Man watched. The movie also inspired the essay I am writing in english that is based on your idea of a hero. thx for the bio and other helpful info.

James Braddock had Courage , Honor and pure American standards. Too bad all those values dont exist anymore. Braddock was a true American with guts and family values ! Long live the memory of his accomplishments!

I never knew who James was until i bought the movie and seen it. James was a very inspiring man with a great deal of pride for his family, truly a admirer in all aspects of life.
