My husband and I watched Cinderalla Man last night and was very moved by it. I am sure some of the facts presented were not true but the message was very inspriational....I am sure Mr. Baddock family was very proud of him and his wife. It is so hard to even image how people lived during the depression !!! We have be come sure a spoiled country and this film reminded us how hard our grandparents had to work and stick together. We could all lean a good lesson from the film. I applaud the woked done on the web site. I enjoyed seeing the family photos and the update on Mr. Braddock family. Men like him and his wife are real roll models for our children. Thank you

I watched the dvd last night and was left feeling totalyy overwhelmed with respect and awe for a incredible person and boxer. We do not often get a real picture into the lives of the people who struggled during the depression and the movie gives us only a glimpse into the the trials and hardships that people endured. James Braddock is truly an inspiration and his wife Mae the unwavering supporter to a man whom eeryone should strive to be like. How proud his family must be !!!!! I just watched the movie. We Irish have had a lot of trouble given to us, and we've caused some over the years. I normally don't ballyhoo my 'Irishness' - lots of the world's problems are caused by 'My group is better than your group.' But the story of J.J. Braddock makes me feel good being Irish. We hang in there when the going gets tough, (we've had practice.) I hope that we'll all give to our families and the world as he did, THAT is the example in the movie that stirred me most.

I just finished watching Cinderella Man. What a wonderful movie which is sure to be a real classic. Hats off to Ron Howard and Ruselle Crowe for this movie. This story depicted a part of America that is generally told by the old, and often forgotten as the years rolled by after the great depression. When I finished watching the move I could not help relfect on the recent boxing champions of our time. People like Mike Tyson she be ashamed and banned from boxing forever. James J. Braddock, was truely a man of courage, determination, and inspiration.

At a time when our countries youth is struggling to find decent heroes and mentors here is a man and a family that are both. What a great autobiography on Mr Braddock. I saw the movie several days ago and was impressed with the story of a man who was hardworking ,unselfish and dedicated to his family.He was a true American Hero as far as I am concerned.What a life he led during the depression period and after. We need more like him. Fighters like Mike Tyson could'nt shine Mr Braddocks boots on a good day.Again, thank you for a wonderful Web site on this true Gentleman, Father,Husband,and World Champion.God Bless Him.

Truly a magnificent movie. While growing up in Jersey City, NJ, my father would always talk about the great Jim Braddock. Truly an amazing man. His story will always inspire me to go forward in what you believe in.

Wasn't sure I had any interest in this movie, but decided to watch it with my husband. I am so glad that I did. Simply a fantastic movie about a wonderful man and his family.

James Braddock through the movie Cindirella Man inspired me to never give up in life and that you always get a 2nd chance, Im married and have 3 kids and life at times is very difficult but this movie encourages me.Thanks

I never would have known about james braddock if it wasnt for cinderella man (the movie). I love boxing movies, because i am a professional boxer. I am in the cruiserweight division. Even though i havent fought yet, I tend to bring an impact. Braddock inspired me by showing nothing can keep you down. Thanks Cinderella Man!!!!

I watched Cinderalla Man on December 10, 2005. It was a very heart felt movie. It is an inspiration to all to strive for all of your goals and dreams. He was a true family man and honest. To have overcome all of the opstacles that he faced and come out on top he was a true champion. I also admire his wife for being patient and understanding when she could have just given up and moved on. That is true love.

I JUST WATCHED CINDERELLA MAN(10DEC05) AND WAS ABSOLUTELY MOVED TO TEARS. JAMES IS WHAT I ALWAYS ENVISIONED A REAL MAN TO BE.AND AS A PLUS HE WAS A GREAT BOXER. MY FATHER WAS ALOT LIKE JAMES BRADDOCK. HE DID WHATEVER IT TOOK TO PROVIDE FOR US IN TOUGH TIMES. I JUST WANT TO SAY TO HIS FAMILY THAT I'M SO GLAD THEY DID THIS MOVIE ABOUT JAMES, AND DID IT WELL. JAMES SERVED IN THE WAR, AND IT HAS MADE ME PROUD THAT I FOLLOWED IN HIS FOOTSTEPS IN IRAQ(FEB2003-APR2004). THERE ARE TOO MANY PARALLELS BETWEEN WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH NOW IN MY LIFE AND WHAT JAMES WENT THROUGH. I NEEDED THIS MOVIE RIGHT NOW. IT GIVES ME HOPE AS I VENTURE BACK TO DANGER OVERSEAS IN THE ARMY. HIS LIFE HAS BEEN AN INSPIRATION TO ME AND THAT'S NOT EVEN REFERRING TO THE BOXING! ALL THE BEST TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

I would like to know the feeling of triumph he deservedly felt after bringing his family through the depression. A great man to keep his family together and to do what it takes to survive. A true champion.

I am eight years old and just watched this movie with my family. What a wonderful movie! James J Braddock was truly a brave man. If I were his wife, I would have been as scared -- or more scared -- than she was before the fight with Max. This is a wonderful inspiration for boxers who want to be a star, and for other people. Thank you for making this awesome movie!

wonderful portrayal of a great family man-truly inspirational story of what love of family is all about

I was already a bit interesting in boxing before I saw "Cinderella Man", but after I saw it I was REALLY interested. Braddock is very inspiring. His whole story is wonderful and I just love how brave he is. I'm really glad that this site was put together to inform other fellows about him.

I watched it today on this the 10th day of December, 2005. I haven't been that inspired by a movie since Rudy. I even watched it again with my parents tonight. I admittedly got teary eyed watching the throughout as it reminded me of my dad, my mom, and the things they've done and continue to do for me and my brothers. I always said that if I could have dinner or meet someone dead or alive, it wouldve been Joe DiMaggio or JFK. That has changed today, because it would be James J Braddock.

Hats off to you Mr. braddock, a true American, gentleman and hero. Thank you for your inspiration and thank you for having served your country. My husband was a united states marine, an infantry officer and loved every second of it. He gave his life for his country in April of 2004. I watched Cinderella Man tonight and it reminded me of my John. Thank you and God bless.
