Thank you for your sharing this wonderful family treasure with us. These are the stories that my children hear when we talk about great people in America.

What an amazing man. The inner strength of character far surpasses his physical strength. The movie could not have been cast better and I truly felt that I knew him and his wonderful family.

Wonderful movie about a life well lived. Values that many of us have forgotten and it was an inspiration to see a movie about a person with principles. We are so moved that so many people who saw the movie felt compelled ,as we did, to search for a website about Mr. Braddock to find out more. The movie is a gem but the man is a National Treasure.

A Great Story about an inspirit person
at probably one of the most depressing times in American History.

Integrity, Determination, Will to keep moving forward when things are down. All generations can benefit from watching this movie.

Of Course I'm a proud Nw Jersey Native. We are also extremely proud of another good man - Jersey Joe Walcott. His story is also very good, as is the story of his life after boxing and his great community service. We learn Mental Toughness in New Jersey

I saw the film tonight. When I walked out, I felt hopeful. Your grandfather was an amazing human. We should all apire to be so amazing. In the theatre were some tough looking teenage boys. They watched attentively and seemed moved by the film. I think ALL teenage boys could learn something from your grandfather's story. Thank you for this site!

I've heard of James Braddock the way a guy hears about sports figures. Just a name. I knew he was a boxing champ but not much more. Now I know. I'll be a better person for knowing. Thank you Mr. Braddock.

What an amazing man..............

I couldn't wait to go online to find out more about this amazing human being. What a role model James J. Braddock was to his family and the world. I hope that many people will learn from his integrity and determination. I'm so glad that this movie was made and so happy that you have this wonderful website.

My dad, who was a Golden Gloves Boxer in NY in the early thirties always told my Brother and I stories of your Grandfather while we were growing up. As an Irish immigrant, he was a big fan of James J. Braddock. I am so glad that this movie was made - it is very moving and hopefully gave a factual account of your Grandfather - someone your family is obviousley proud of. I now know where fried bologna came from (that was a staple in our house in the early 50's)!

My wife and I just came back from the movies today. I am lucky I didn't know the story because I could feel all the tense and beautiful moments depicted in the movie about your grandfather. We are sure that all of you are very proud of him. We are thankful to have the opportunity to know him now. He was the kind of man we are missing in our society nowadays.

First I would like to say that this was a fantastic movie about a great man who has inspired many a fighter, including my father , cousin and myself ( for a short while).
As a kid I had the pleasure of meeting Rocky Graziano [whom my cousin sparred with], Rocky Marciano and a few others that I don't even remember anymore.... I only wish the opportunity was there for me to meet a man with the heart of ten men , such as James J. Braddock. I believe when my time comes.... he too I shall meet.

It is a pleasure to see a story about someone who does the right thing, maintains their values despite terrible circumstances, and comes out on top. He does not blame others for his adversities, but gains strength and determination from it. James Braddock is an excellent role model and an inspiration to all athletes.

The story told on the big screen by Ron Howard was of a truly wonderful man. Mr. Braddock is a one of a kind and should be remembered as such.
Honesty, integrity and devotion. Things so many of us lack one or more of. He reminds me of my father!
I will see the movie many more times as it is one of the best ever!

My wife and I just returned from Cinderella Man. Stunning. This is one of those stories that will stick in my mind for a very very long time. When I saw Russell Crowe begging for whatever he could get, hat in hand, and tears streaming down his face I almost lost it myself. We just got home and I had to find out more. Congrats on a fantastic website and more congrats on an amazing movie and story.

A wonderful story that needs to be hearlded as in this great movie. A story with so many redeeming values. The world needs men of Jim Braddock's character.

Cinderella Man was a terrific movie. Awonderful man with a great family, I'm sorry that I did not live in his era.

I just returnd from seeing this most powerful and inspirational movie about James Braddock with my two younger sons 12 and 14. We all walked away with a message we shall carry through our lives....Thank you for it !!!!

Took my wife to the movie, she hates boxing yet, she was jumping up and down and thoroughly enjoyed this story and movie. A great example of courage, a great director and great actors, surely worthy of an Oscar or more!
