I have always loved a good biography. This is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen. Jim was surely an example of courage and determination as well as the kind of role model we wish not only for our kids but our grandchildren as well,not just telling his children about honesty and integrity but living it in front of them. Thanks to all for this movie. We'll be looking for the awards to come.

i was deeply moved with the movie cinderella man. jim, his wife and family were truely "old school". i wish more people would return to those days. great man, great movie!

Wonderful movie about a wonderful family. It was absolutely great to see a family, under total duress, continue to believe in their values. An absolutely wonderful guy, and as one person who has already posted, a wife who was "the wind beneath his wings".

The fact that I'm on this site shows you how much this movie moved me. I wanted to be sure that the real James J was as inspiring as the movie and it looks like he was. I will be sure my whole family sees it.

The Champ was an inspiration to many people during a very tough time in our country's history. The movie is fantastic and kept me on the edge of my seat...great web site and good photo's.

Great man. Great woman. Wonderful movie. Are there any role models like
the Bulldog out there now? I think not. Every athlete needs to see the movie and read the book. Then, use their talents like this great fighter did--not just for gain but for also those that are watching and following.

What a great movie it was... I remember when I stood up at the theater and cheered for "Rocky". This movie is better!

We just saw "Cinderella Man" and loved it. The movie was wonderful but the most important part of the story was that James Braddock kept in mind the years spent during the Depression, and used it as his inspiration to win his fights. Amazing what people can do once they have really been hungry and their family has done without the basic necessities of life. He couldn't have done all that he did without Mae. She was the wind beneath his wings.

What a terrific movie! I enjoyed getting to know your grandfather in this way. He had that determined, self-sacrificing, nitty-gritty, survival determination that was so evident of that generation. It was refreshing to see that on the screen for a change. I, too, wanted to stand up and clap for the win over Max Baer. And Mae, what a terrific "stand-by-your-man" woman was she. The two together were terrific. Thanks for sharing the story!

Russel crowe has done an awesome job. I loved the movie and admire James for his determinations

The movie portraying the boxing career of James Braddock was great. Russell Crowe made me FEEL Braddock's pain and success and it made me wish I had a father that loved and cared about us kids. Crowe deserves an award for this one. It inspired me to look up Braddock on the internet to learn more about him.

My Father, David Bloom, told me that he seconded Braddock a few times in his early days in Jersey City.
Glad to see a movie ythat so vindicates the man and shows him to be just that, "a man"

Jim Braddock is an inspiration and a man to be admired. The movie brought home again what life was like for many people in the Great Depression. Kudos to Ron Howard and Russell Crowe for a great movie.

We just saw this movie and I could have cried the entire time. I have three young children, similar in ages and you tend to forget how much you really do have these days but don't appreciate. One of the most touching movies I have ever seen. Russell Crowe was wonderful. James Braddock was a wonderful man for all to admire.

Incredible true story which left me absolutely breathless at the end. I am a 65 year old man from South Philly who has long been a boxing fan so I was somewhat knowledgable of Jim Braddock. The wonderful epilogue to his story is the fact that after his boxing career and as a middle aged married man with children he chose during WWII to join the marines. The epitomie of the Greatest Generation is James J Braddock.

Inspiring true story that makes me appreciate what we have and willing to sacrifice to keep it. Jim Braddock was a great family man.

What an inspiring life your grandfather had, even after his boxing career, he demonstrated such great humility when he joined the Marines. That was the best movie I’ve seen all year!

I can't remember the last time I wanted to stand up in a theater and jump up and down. I wanted to thursday night. What an absolutely wonderful story during such a difficult time.

My husband and I saw the movie just last night. Going into the movie I really did not know it was based on a true story. I absolutly loved it and my husband did to. Although, I definitly wish I would of brought some kleenex. I can not wait to see it again.

WOW I loved the movie. I had to drag my husband to it (he thought it was a chick flick) and he wants to go again tonight. They just don't make them like that anymore!!!

He has inspired me to become a better man, and I never take my wife or my children for granted any more. It gave me the strength I needed to complete my goals, my hopes and dreams that I've wanted all my life, to be a boxer.
