To be honest when I got the Cinderella Man DVD from my sister-in-law for Xmas, I thought here we go again, another present that will end up in the cupboard. My wife decided to put it on last night and I thought about checking my emails. I decided to stay and watch the movie with her. She said, "It should be good, Russell Crowe is in it". (Gladiator is one of her all time favourites). In the end I'm glad I did, and tomorrow when I see my father-in-law I'll give it to him,as he likes watching the Friday Night Fights on Fox Sport, so he'll definately get a buzz out of this. Russell Crowe, who I see occasionally as he lives near to where I work, played an outstanding role, as did the whole cast, including JJB's children. I wasn't surprised to see Ron Howard's name in the credits. So here I am now, checking out the official website, as I wanted to find out more about this great boxer and family man. Yes, I will be recommending the movie and the website to everyone I know. This DVD certainly won't be collecting dust in the future. Congratulations and thank you.

Left very shocked with the history of the great champion, although over the movie only we could get to know a little about the life of this great person. For me is a great source of inspiration, courage, and infinite love for his family, attitudes that our generation should implement. I appreciate the space to think and write my thoughts on a great boxer, father and person as was James J. B.

Watched the movie last night and had to come and see what this true gent looked like!!Fab film,great acting and will watch it many times.What a fantastic boxer,father and allround lovely guy he was.Will make my kids watch movie to see what it was like to live in those poor times and have nothing!!you are a legend Mr Braddock!!!!

I did not know Braddock until see the film. I was fascinated by its history. It is a perseverance and conquest icon. an example to all.

I did'nt know an awful lot about James J Braddock until the movie, "Cinderella Man", but I felt compelled to post this message, I'm in complete awe of him, through those dark times of the depression came a real hero, and a gentleman and true family man.
What a great pity that the values this man had, is not in evidence these days. My total respect to a true warrior.

A true hero...A real man...A special human being...An Inspiration.

I was really inspired by James performance in the 1930's by seeing the movie "Cinderella Man". This really makes me know how people really try their best at times. Being the best makes you the best...No doubt.

Now this is how boxing is. True determiantion and admiration of the sport, and not a lot of hype and money gouging. Mr. Braddock truly fought not only for himself, but also to bring his family from poverty to prosperity. May GOD bless for giving true boxing fans like myself this opportunity.

I was so touched by the story of this unbeleaveable man with a great heart and mind. He is still inspiration for thoose how understand what it means to beleave in your family and faith even thou the whole world seems to be against you. A message which reached my heart and soul. God bless for this men and his beloved family.

I have just spent my first Christmas morning alone, watching Cinderella Man. As I wipe the tears away I want to say, My God, what a man!

I watched the movie last night and I should say that I was impressed by this man's character so much that the first thing I did this morning was searching his name to find out more about him.He was a great man and you should be proud of him.

I'd like to say that I really admire Braddock and after see the movie he became a heroe for me.

A trully champion is not made only by talent and training, is also made by passion, kindness and integrity. I wish we still have this kind of people in the sport. James Braddock is a real example of perseverance, it is realy inspiring.

He was so inspirational and a loving man. I think he deserves a thousand awards and may his love , courage and spirit be with him! I love you Jim!

Wow! I recently watched the movie "Cinderella Man" in my eleventh grade American History class. We are studying the Great Depression and Mr. Braddock lived through this hard economic time as a symbol of hope and great inspiration to the people. Russel Crowe did an awesome job, as did Renee Zelwigger. I must say, this was one of the most inspirational and action-packed movies I've seen in a while!! I cannot believe this was a true story! I am very sad to discover that Mr. Braddock has passed away. Tonight, I was wondering if he might still be alive, so I logged onto this website; I know he will always be remembered not only by myself, but by many others as well!

This was the most touching movie I have ever seen. Mr. Jim was what every man should trive to be today. I have looked through the photos and it seems as though he was on hell of a man. God Bless you and your entire family.
