James J. Braddock - Guestbook
Welcome to the official guestbook of the James J Braddock website. Due to spam, we have been forced stop guestbook entries.
James J. Braddock was truly an inspiration to all those going through hard times. His courage and perseverence during the Depression was truly amazing. I LOVE the movie and love it more each time I watch it. I am so glad that the movie is accurate. His life is truly one worth celebrating.

J.J.Braddock is an inspiration to all. This man overcame adversity as well as trying to live in a time where 5 cents made the difference if you ate or not. My hat off to the "Cinderella Man" and his family.

What an excellent movie. All of us Braddock's gotta stick together. My father was from Pittsburgh, and some of his sisters reside in Philly.
Well I dont have much else to say! Take life easy, it is too short to stress!

We had to watch "Cinderalla Man" in history class this year. I immediatly jumped to conclusions and thought it would be boring since I'm not exactly a boxing fan, but I was wrong. The story is deep and I even found myself on the edge of my seat in the boxing scenes. Well done.

I was fired from my work this Wednesday. Not a very perfect situation, so I decided to buy myself a god movie.
I went home, opend a very good bottle of redvine which I shared with my wonderfull and understanding vife, while we watched the movie.
By clear coincidence, the movie I had bought was "Cinderella man". I´ve never heard about Braddock or the movie before.
To face a dificult situation and then be inspired by the movie and the story about James J. Braddock, has helped me this past days to keep on going.
It has given me the inspiration to stand up and fight for my two little boys and my wife. I will not go down.
Thank you James for showing the way back!

I would have to say that this is a great site that pays tribute to a wonderful man. I just recently watched the film and it was a very inspirational story. I am glad that it held so true to James's real life.

I knew the history behind james j before the film cinderella man came out. But it renewed my interest in the most inspirational man i have ever heard of, he had it all, compassion courage humility loyalty and most importantly a thunderous right hand with a heart like a lion. I can,t think of one world champion of today who has all those attributes, I am proud to be a fan of James J Braddock

I am 21 years old, so James was wayyyy before my time but I can say that after watching that powerful overwhelming movie I found myself breathless. I mean a man that went thru all of that and still kept his cool and NOT once gave up he sincerely deserved that Title(turtle). He has giving me the inspiration to persue my dreams of becoming a boxer. Where I live Boxing is small time so therefore no boxing gyms. All i want is a chance and if anyone out there could help please I am very sincere about this and am willing to give 100 percent of my heart and soul to get a grasp on MY dream. email- jwood2@bna.com

Having grown up in New Jersey, and seeing my son attend Hudson Catholic HS in Jersey City which is next door to North Bergen. I have never known any man who has inspired more people and touche more lives than Jim Braddock. He makes my family proud to be americans, and so very proud of the State of New Jersey and Hudson County. all those involved with the Cinderella Man should be commended for telling this incredible story.

Great site. Enjoyed the photo gallery; nice to see the real faces. The bio on Mr. Braddock and family is a valuable addedum to the movie. Was, pleasantly, surprised to find the movie was so close to reality.

Mr. Braddock is an inspiration that transcends generations. Cinderella Man is an apt nickname, but one must not forget, he made his own "fairy tale" come true.

I would first like to start off by saying its people like you who give hope to the common man. Only if my brother had decided to box and vent his anger that way instead of going around eating small children's pets and randomly tasering people he wouldnt have had 7 federal agents tackle him and take him away. But i think this is a truly inspirational story that shows the American spirit even when America is at an all time low.

My Dad, who was Irish always said,"Irish aren't quitters". After seeing Cinderella Man I cried as I heard my Dad's message again. What an inspiration his life was! I have terminal leukemia.I need a push now and then, since my Dad passed. James" life was a real push for me!

I've seen this movie for this first time, today. I've really cried, touched by this man life story !
It's so fascinant... and made think about the force and the emotion at the same time. All my body could feel these emotions... born from the deep of the inconscient (awareness).
Congratulations for all those that made this story became a movie !
