Thank you for sharing your family photos. I just finished watching, for the first time, Cinderella Man. I really enjoyed the family part of the movie, the love it showed between your grandparents. I really loved the photos - it looks like your grandfather really loved life and really loved your grandmother and his children. His story is great and I thank you for sharing it.

i just saw cinderella man in my history class the other day, and we had a discussion over it, and i really realized just how amazing james was. i think he's probably my biggest hero ever. he was an amazing insperation to everyone.

I loved the film i watched it for the 1st time few months ago but appreciated it more on the 2nd time round tonight. As everyone else was saying he is a real inspiration to everyone.

The movie was brilliant, a real underdog from a working class family
who showed what you can acheive under such adversity, he is an inspiration to the battler as to what can be acheived where there were many doubters and sceptics.

He was a true legend.

Mr Braddock has been a big part of my life it was his storey that got me interested in boxing, his storey that inspired me to write the play "Long Live the King" and eventually make m low budget first ever movie. I am Indian and I am a movie manic and a great fan of Rocky I must say what I am today is because of him.

After seeking the movie Cinderella Man, it moved my soul, I’ll really touched by the story and the hardship Mr. James has faced, he once again helped me to go for my dreams and I will definitely achieve them.

JJB was man of substance. man of values he was. he is a hero of society, he conveyed a good message to us and that is to keep on fighting, what ever may be the cirumstances keep on fighting and atlast u'll win. don't loose faith in god and in urself. and the movie cindrella man is a good movie . i would like to congratulate the director, producer and every man who help directly on indirectly to complete this movie for making this great movie.

great film about a great person! my congratulations to his parents for raising up such a fine, honorable man. to his family for having a husband/father like him. and to his friends and colleagues who had the privilege of knowing him ang working with him. mr. braddock's life inspire people to become better persons. this film on him is the best i've ever seen because it tells the story of a life well lived. worth admiring and emulating.

What a great man! And a fine example for us all! WE have seen the movie Cinderalla Man 3 times and each time the character of J.J. Braddock inspires all of us in new ways! If we all could have one-tenth the character of this man the world would be a better place!

Best motivational line I have every heard. A question was possed to Braddock about why he was fighting a killer. His answer...Milk money. While I did not live through the Great Drepression I have lived through the DOR.COM failure and related directly to Braddock's. Family first!

Just watched the movie tonite. What an amazing and touching story. My parents and grand parents were also experiencing hard times and difficult situations during the 40's and 50's - the Japanese invasion and the Emergency era like what Mr Braddock and his family facing during the Great Depression in the states. What's lacking nowadays is the dignity and integrity that Mr Braddock and his generation had. Salute to Mr Braddock. And to his grandchildren too for this beautiful website.

A true champion and survivor during the Great Depression and a great family man.

I recently saw the move The Cinderella Man on TV. Though it was not the first time I had seen the movie, it made me realise I wanted to know more about this courageous man from New Jersey.

I am inspired by J.J Braddock and his story touched me deeply. The website is a fantastic way to remember this great man.

I salute him for his courageous, determination and love for his family.

The false perception that Max Baer killed 2 men and was a miscreant has been spreading across cyberspace since the release of Ron Howard's moive. It is simply not right to allow his true image to be tarnished, for people years from now to see him as something he was not. I decided to set the record straight. For the last six months, I’ve waded through newspaper accounts, magazine articles and books from the era, read modern biographies and autobiographies written about the great boxers from the 1930s, and conferred with boxing experts via the internet to obtain background and detailed information. I’ve double-confirmed facts, dispelled or proved rumors and debunked or laid to rest myths about Max Baer to the best of my ability. I’ve put everything I’ve discovered into a website.
