Hi there i have just watched the movie Cinderella man and to be honest had never heard of james j braddock before it but having seen it now he is a truely great boxer if not 1 of the all time greatest

My Father was a boxer in The Fifties and his name was also James J, no doubt I got my love of boxing through him. Went to the Hall of Fame in Canastota few years ago, many boxers in The Early Years were Humble and Honourable Men, to that Roll Of Honour you can add the name JAMES J BRADDOCK.. A Very Honourable Man...Thanks For The Memories...

Have just finished watching the film, very moving and just fantastic! A real inspirational Film..
Normally fall asleep on long film's but this was such a compelling story had to watch every bit!
It makes you appreciate life!
This is a true life story that is totally uplifting...... Thank you Mr James J. Braddock for being you!

Just watched the film today and I was inspired by it. Couldn’t wait to see who won the fight against Max bear so searched the net and came to this great site. The film gives Braddock credit for his life as a great fighter and a family man.

Wow. What a movie, what a story, what a man! My father was a boxer and big promoter so I grew up in the 'world of boxing'. Love to hear these kind of stories of true men in the sport who don't cheapen it by biting off ears! May his example lead future boxers to do it right!

What an inspirational man. He had a combination of character, moxy, and humility which is little known today, and I admire him greatly. He is a true hero! Not just an American one, but one for all of mankind.

I've seen the movie 10 times, Jimmy was a true hero and an inspiration to all of us.We need a Jim Braddock today.

Just saw the movie tonight. It took a long time to get to Satellite in Japan. It was worth the wait. Aside being from NJ, I loved the movie because I have a kid and could feel for the guy when he was down. Is this the toughest guy ever??

What a fantastic movie! Jim is still an inspiration to all people. There should be more like him.

My college film class showed 'Cinderella Man' in its entirty while relating it to The Great Depression, seemed a very good man much like my grandparents in the depression.Thanks for sharing the photos and website!

braddock was a great guy and a great fighter, and never gave up. fought for his family, and accomplished the impossible. I admire him for that.

hey, i just finished reading the book Cinderella man and i loved it. The movie was really good to. I was amazed at how bad the depression really was... James J Braddock is my hero and I want to know a little more about him. Im doin a book report on him right now! I really love the move. It was well done, as for as the actor's and the director. I would like to learn more about his living family. Times were hard and i admire the Braddock family with what they had to go through.
